The regional round of Team Maths 2024 was held in 17 centres across the country on Tuesday, March 27th. It was a huge success with 341 teams competing on the day, from 139 different schools.
Students performed really well with a national mean score of 11.77, with a Standard Deviation of 3.77.
The National Final will be held in Maynooth University on Saturday, April 20th. Due to the size of the venue an additional 19 extra teams have been invited to compete in the national final.
14 of the 19 came from largest centre in the country – Gonzaga College in Dublin where 4 other teams also scored the maximum of 20/20 with the eventual winners Oatlands College. In all, 7 teams nationwide achieved the maximum score. They were

2 of the 19 teams who have been invited to compete in the national final were each from the Cork venue and the Dublin West venue in St Kevin’s Community College.
