Welcome to the IMTA

The national association representing and supporting Maths Teachers in second level schools in Ireland

We organise training courses for teachers, a range of competitions for schools and students at 1st year, Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate levels. We also represent maths teachers on the NCCA syllabus committees giving a mathematical voice in all planning. We have branches in all corners of the country where you can meet and discuss mathematics and education with like minded peers.
