The Pi Quiz started in 2009 to fill a void that existed in the middle of secondary school education. A brainchild of the Cork Branch, a team of 4 Junior Certificate students compete in a table quiz format over 8 rounds. The Cork branch arrange the questions and their Pi Quiz steering committee regulate the rules and regulations of the quiz. Currently there are 10 rounds nationally where schools can compete.
Only 1 team per school is permitted.
