Calling all students with a flair for the artistic!
WE are launching a new Problem Solving Competition in September and we are looking for a new trophy design. We are having a competition for students to design the new Maggie Gough Trophy.
The Maggie Gough Competition will be an online competition which tests the problem solving skills of Junior and Senior Cycle students. It is named after the first known Irish woman to receive a PhD in Mathematics – Maggie Gough (Sr Mary de Lellis Gough). More info can be read here
We are calling on all students with an artistic, creative or design-focused mind to design the trophy for the new competition.
The winning design will be 3-D printed and turned into the Trophy for the winners of the Maggie Gough Competition.
