The conference takes place in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise. Check here for transport options.

We also ask that attendees bring their own bottle/travel cup so that we can cut down on waste.

Conference Schedule

In our efforts to reduce waste, we will not be printing out programmes. The conference programme and workshop schedule may be found above. Workshops will last 45-minutes and are allocated on a first come first served basis. There is a 5-minute change-over time built into the timetable too, except where workshops are followed by a break or lunch.

Registration begins at 08:30 and exhibitor stands will be open from this time. The welcome address takes place at 9am sharp, followed by the first set of workshops at 9:10. We ask that people arrive on time. The conference is scheduled to finish at 16:25. The IMTA AGM will follow and will last max 30 mins.

Tea/Coffee and pastries will be provided at registration, during morning break and a hot meal will be served at lunchtime.

Signing In

We ask that all attendees make sure they sign in when they arrive on Saturday morning. This sign-in will be used to generate electronic attendance certificates, which will be issued to attendees in the days following the conference. No ticket is required. There will be a voucher for lunch in your bag – this will be needed for lunch so please mind it carefully. We will be unable to provide an attendance cert to anyone who has not signed in on the day.

Resources

Each conference attendee will receive a conference bag when they sign in. You may use the bag to collect teaching, learning and assessment resources which will be distributed during workshops and available at exhibitor stands.
